Winamp visualizations9/1/2023 I feel like the last one of these to have one was the iTunes orbs. What we have now: None of the modern music services (Amazon, Spotify, Apple) have visualization options built into their TV Apps - not even a simple EQ / levels display or sine wave. I wanted some sort of simple / abstract graphic to put on my TV while it plays music. Why did music visualization die out? I feel like it coincided with the advent of the iPod and all the money in the music industry shifting to mobile devices. Music and light can pair in magical ways.
